This pic was the beginning of a very unusual night sky. First, it appears like a shaft of light rising from the sun. Later, (no pics) what appeared to be brilliant Northern Light danced across the sky. The show was so spectacular it made the news. However, they wern't Northern Lights! Its a mystery, some thought it was ice crystals, etc. We'll never know for sure but it was absolutely beautiful.
